This is my go-to app for train travel in India. Very helpful features and reliable information.

The app has a lot of info, I like the ability to contribute to the database if inaccurate info is spotted.

Very handy app to check your waitlist status. Future modification can include automatic notification if your seats get confirmed.

Finding coach positions on live train status is still difficult

Worst app I’ve used for the following reasons : 1) after booking and making payment you have login into web site to confirm which doesn’t work so had to cancel . Shouldn’t this confirmation be prior to payment ? 2) the app shows seats are available but after booking it states WL but status confirmed ? Not clear and very confusing … seems like nit a lot of thought put into developing this app. 3) registration with railway web site doesn’t work and received no verification email . This app in my opinion has lots on fundamental issues

This is just to make train tickets Booking, not a Ticket to meet Prime Minister. Should be easy to just book a ticket to any one with Id, no more

App is not responding after complete the payment

I haven’t been able to make single reservation on this app. Tried international card and also net banking. Keeps saying invalid response try after sometime. No customer support, no help available.

Beware of the scam and don’t ever order food from this app or be ready with something you never eaten. You will end up staying hungry in the middle of your journey. Save yourself from feeling cheated.

I had to try several times to book tickets. I tried several times to book my return tickets. That never worked! I’m planning to go to station counter to purchase those tickets.

It is not accepting password to confirm booking after ticket is issued. What fraud is this ?

Very unreliable when it comes to showing train status. Shows that the train has reached its destination while the train is atleast 40 mins away from the station.

Very confusing. It’s much easy to buy an air ticket. Too many sites to find the wanted site. NOT at all user senior citizens friendly .

Overall very useful app. One of the suggestions is to let user enter the different spelling of cities. (E.g: Bengaluru or Bangalore, Dharwad or Dharwar)

This aap is worst aap fore money and time I have booked ticket but refund is note came i have so many time tried to call but they didn’t proper respond so don’t use this aap

I have trying to contact them from last 3 hrs. The time increasing every minute however I am unable to get any representative in the phone. There is no other way to contact them. Highly disappointed.

It’s not user friendly and some of the options are not working and I am unable to download my ticket

Canceled the ticket which was booked thru RailYatri. But never got a refund. Looks like a sham website. Someone at Indian govt. should note this and fix it.

I don’t know how it can be work , i just trying to update my data ,, to complete to login but it is not happening since 4 days ..

With Recent app update, the UI doesn’t show the current WL + no./RAC + no. STATUS.. instead it simply shows current status as WL/RAC only.. Please include it.. as it was in older version.. Also Confirmation probability is not there in new version..

The App is very user friendly but the Software developer needs to add a field for Postpone or Prepone Travel dates.

Was trying to use this on a journey to home town. Since the stations and stops are well known to me, was surprised to see the totally wrong information this app was giving, about upcoming stations and turned out be completely useless app. Uninstalled. Google maps provided the most accurate and correct tracking.

Rail services have improved a lot. Thanks. But some train coaches need replacement for example 19411/ 19412.

I am big fan of Rail Yatri App. It is far better in giving updates - train departure/arrival schedule and PNR status etc. I used it to buy tickets also.

We started our journey from Delhi around 6:30 am. The bathrooms were very dirty. Very disappointed considering it’s called first class. I cannot imagine what 2nd and 3rd class would be like. Not worth the price we paid. Other service was good but should take more effort into cleanliness considering we are going through Pandemic. We had to wipe down the seats too cause it was filthy. Our train was Rajdhani 12432.

Have logged to with much difficulty. Now don’t find option how to logout? Dose not show the page display your identity and stored information.

Web app hides important information and asks to install mobile app, where the page for status doesn’t even load on iOS app. The status on web app was highly inaccurate compared to what I got from my relative on the train. Don’t depend on this app for status tracking!!

You are cheating customers

It shows wrong train status as if it is accurate and live. My train was delayed 1 hour out of origin and this app showed it left on time showing it moving on time! It’s a joke of an app.

Most Useful

The train status in the app doesn’t match with the website. The app said that the train hasn’t started yet, while their own website shows a delay and running status. App is very unreliable.

The app does not work correctly

Train # 16023 departs from Mysore at 8:10 am terminating at Bengaluru, while in this app there train departure is at 8:25am and terminating station is Yelahanka. Do not know how many more errors are there. Better to check at other sites or call the station.

Sorry to say the app has become so user unfriendly. Very difficult to understand.

I just believe that india who produces more than 50% of the worlds techies. Where we have become COO’s CEOS or most tech companies could come up with a half baked app. There is. I way to register the app on your name. So everytime you need to buy a ticket you need to renter the login info. Which is a minefield too. This is a iPhone app. However it is not made for a iPhone screen. There are many issues with that. Please have quality control check on a smart phone. Not a laptop

Does not load

Could have missed I I followed time as per this app, Udyan from Bangalore to mumbai was supposed to arrive at 8 am, but your app was showing it as 8:45 am, which is incorrect. Good that I checked the time in e-ticket

Dear Railyatri Team, I have created a ticket but not given ticket status and fare charge debited from my upi. Booking Id 10406214 Please confirm if ticket has been confirmed with your app . Then please update also on app. Other refund my amount asap.

Such a crap app. Not user friendly. Poorly maintained and difficult in finding what we need
